What did I had a bad night of sleep. So restless, I’ve been awake a lot! I woke up feeling like wreck! Still a lot of things to do today. Todays workout will be a mix of everything:

Feeling terrible today. Result of way too busy days and allergies. But I did it anyway. During the first 3k I wanted to quit so bad. Felt bad for myself, but after that I figured I was almost halfway there. Holy shit! My muscles are sore, I do feel really tired. I decided to take a restday with yoga and lot of stretches ofcourse. I’m aching for it! I need some recovery.
I had to improvise without a yoga mat, it worked, but a yoga mat works best.
Time for some Insanity!!!!
I really believe this will benefit my running for core strength, hips, legs and actually overall getting stronger. Today it;s tim for Cardio Power Resistance! Officially I supposed to do the Max workouts, but that’s a little too much in addition to my running. My priority is running, the half marathon and the rest of the workouts has to be a good addition to the running.
I really don’t know how the upper body weight training benefits the running, but I like it! :-)
Actually I never been this serious about a sports like this. I plan ahead, I am very disciplined to do the entire training schedule. It’s May, the event in October. Have I grown up all of a sudden, that I’m so serious about this?
If I can conquer this, I can rule the world!
And I don’t mean ironing shirts! I hate that chore with all my heart! Yuk! I mean UPPER BODY WEIGHT TRAINING!!!
A couple of weeks ago I addes some weight and it’s still challenging! But it’s okay, as long as it challenges me. I only do this workout once a week, wich means slower progress.
A 7K run
Easy as that… Well, not really, but I did it anyway!
What to do? What to do? Tomorrow rest-day, Thursday my half marathon preperation. So what should I do today? Don’t wanna run, don’t have a yoga mat and the floor is too slippery and I’m kinda bored with Insanity today.
Okay, I found something:
Warmup: Jump Rope - 2 minutes Stretch all Major Muscle Groups
20 Jump Squats
15 Tricep Dips
20 Gobble Squats with Alternating Reverse Lunges
15 Decline Pushups
20 Split Jump Squats
15 Military Pushups
20 Broad Jumps
15 Dive Bomb Pushups
20 Athletic Stance X Band Side Steps (10 each direction)
30 Brazilian Ab Twists
20 Straight Leg Sit-Up to V-Up
30 Bicycle Crunches
Sprint Training: 1-2 Rounds
Super Training: 3-4 Rounds
Beast Training: 5-6 Rounds
Cool Down: 1-2 mile jog between 60-70% of competition pace, Stretch All Major Muscle Groups
If I’ll survive this, I can do anything! I am still sore from yesterday and the day before that. Too bad I can’t do the pull ups here… My pull up bar is at home and ther isn’t anything alike around here. ;-) But even without the pull ups I will be even more sore tomorrow!

Yes, alarm clock at 4:34 am, long day at the office, but still ready to rock! Since I don’t follow the 60 days schedule, I can choose the workout I want. Well, they all suck, so there is no good or bad choice. Today it’s time for Cardio Power & Resistance. It’s the first hot day this year, I will regret this workout halfway.
But it’s all about commitment. No matter if you’re tired or warm or just not in the mood. I wanna be strong and I wanna be fit and ofcourse a little fat loss wouldn’t be so bad too.
Don’t wanna do the Insanity program fulltime anymore. Running is a priority untill my very first half marathon race. Today Plyo Cardio at my own pace.
OMG, nog my best workout. Had to quit over halfway of a pounding headache. Ugh… :-(
Today it’s queensday here in the Netherlands, but the last one ever. Today there is a new king. All good and well, but now it’s time to pump some iron!
