Tiny Tuesday
It is one of those days I feel so small and tiny in my head. On those days I just can’t wait to get into bed and leave it all behind!
It has been pretty busy the past few days and it I don’t take my rest moments, I get irritated, over sensitive and sad. Time to take some time for myself.

Mental run
Today was not my best day. Didn’t sleep well, my allergies were doing very well. I was frustrated, tired and annoyed. I didn’t wanna go for a run. After work I was just too tired.

RESTDAY, stretch, stretch, stretch!
Holy shit! My muscles are sore, I do feel really tired. I decided to take a restday with yoga and lot of stretches ofcourse. I’m aching for it! I need some recovery.
I had to improvise without a yoga mat, it worked, but a yoga mat works best.

Iron time!
And I don’t mean ironing shirts! I hate that chore with all my heart! Yuk! I mean UPPER BODY WEIGHT TRAINING!!!
A couple of weeks ago I addes some weight and it’s still challenging! But it’s okay, as long as it challenges me. I only do this workout once a week, wich means slower progress.

Manic Monday

Almost weekend workout!
Don’t wanna do the Insanity program fulltime anymore. Running is a priority untill my very first half marathon race. Today Plyo Cardio at my own pace.

Training 1 done
Today my half marathon training has begun! The weather is getting warmer, not yet really springweather, but that’s ok. I was supposed to jog 5K with a 8:46 min/km. I was suprised, but I can’t jog that slow! :-) My average pace was 7:03! If can get ahead the planned speed, I will finish it pretty fast. But not get our hopes too high, it will get tough soon enough.

Afraid
My biggest fear is not to finish my half marathon running schedule, because of an early knee injury. A runners knee. It took me more then a year to recover. Since my last run my knee and IT band felt so tight.
From now on I promised myself to some running yoga everyday and do my foamrolling as often as I can. I really benifit from it, so why not.

Sunday run plus important deal for me

Crossfit premiere
Today was my first crossfit thing/lesson ever!!! It was one of the eight beginners lessons. We learned how to do a proper deadlift and a muscle up! We did the beginner version of the muscle up, not what you see on the Crossfit games.
Well, you have to start somewhere and I know I will be sore tomorrow! Even though I am pretty strong for a girl. Forget about that. Beginner all over again!

:-D Yay! Tuesday I’m gonna try crossfit for the very first time! Kinda nervous, it has been years and years since I worked out in a public area. :-S Hope I won’t make a fool of myself. I can be clumsy sometimes.

Sunday run
My Sunday run is holy. I have plenty of time to prepare and warm up. Most of the times I do yoga. Thee run itself is always peaceful, not perse slow! But mindful and grounding. And when the weather is good, it makes it even better! Feeling the sun on my face after such long, long and cold winter makes it all worth while! :-) And ofcourse trying my new running pants is always nice!

Every weekend I have a routine: Saturday weight training and Sunday my easy does it Sunday run, no stress, just me and nature.
I had a huge breakfast, so I’m ready for the Upper Body Weight Training!
I went upstairs to get my workout clothes, got into bed and took a nap… But I woke up and did it anyway! :-) Many roads lead to a workout!

Max Interval Circuit
Day 40 I think, Max Interval Circuit. I am still so hungry. I had Greek yogurt and a banana and still hungry. Gonna eat another banana otherwise I’ll faint during my workout!
Good news! About 80% sure I’m gonna try Crossfit for 6 weeks! Finally! I really hope it is as much fun and challenging I think it will be. I will keep you posted! Now time to rock some Insanity!

OMG, I think I have about 8 runningpants now, capris, long ones, 3/4th one. I ordered two (expensive, not on sale) last month. I have to get a hold on myself!!!
Ofcourse I like dresses and heels, but… but… but… Uhm… Workout gear even more.

Supposed to go for a 5K run, but it rains. And I hate rain. I know I’m a pussy, but I hate rain. I only get in my car outside when it rains.
